A few things you should know about me:
I am passionate about Asia: I Served a mission in Taiwan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, returned to BYU, where I met my wife, who is also from Taiwan. I have returned to Asia multiple times and love to continue to learn about the culture, history and people.
I am also passionate about entrepreneurship. I started the best office chair manufacturing and distribution company with my best friend Derek Perkins, Seatability in 2005. Our factory is in Taiwan and we have learned a lot from our experiences.
I am also passionate about gummy candy, pancakes, Pho Vietnamese noodles, most all Chinese food, pasta and vanilla ice cream. (I like food)
I am passionate about playing golf, following basketball and reading. I am fascinated by modern Chinese history, especially the Culture Revolution. I am not a fan of Mao, in fact I think he is an idiot. I’ll argue this one with anybody!
